'' An incident that took place on October 30 has left Supernatural actress Katie Cassidy with a citation for suspicion of underage drinking and lying to a police officer, according to Tucson police reports. The incident has only come to light now as it was only recently that a state public records request was submitted.

According to the reports, the 20-year-old actress, who happens to be the daughter of singer-actor David Cassidy, was a passenger of a pick-up truck being driven by a 19-year-old man named Caleb Wilson late last month. At around 2:15 in the morning, the officers signaled the vehicle to stop near East Grant Road and North Euclid Avenue when they could not decipher the license plate.

Wilson pulled into a nearby parking lot, striking an unoccupied car in the process. The police dealt with the suspected traffic violations, as well as spoke with Katie Cassidy, “who was showing signs and symptoms” of intoxication such as alcohol on her breath and slurred speech.

Cassidy then admitted to drinking several glasses of wine and some cranberry juice mixed with vodka. However, she provided the officers with a different name, saying she was Taylor Quinn Cole, a 23-year-old actress who has had guest stints on Supernatural and Summerland.

Katie Cassidy later confessed to giving false information, telling an officer, "OK, OK, I lied to you, that wasn't my real name, but I'll give it to you now."

She then gave the officers her real name and birth date. The reports claim that the television star said she was “scared and that was why she lied,” and that being a Hollywood actress, said “this would not look good on her.”

The officers verified the actress' identity by calling her mother, who wanted to know “what could be done” to aid her celebrity daughter.

While a breath test confirmed that Cassidy had indeed consumed alcohol, it revealed that Wilson had not been drinking. Wilson has been cited on suspicion of making an improper right turn, failing to secure an Arizona driver's license and lacking proof of insurance.

At the time of the incident, Cassidy was only a few weeks away from celebrating her 21st birthday.

Cassidy has had several minor roles in films and appeared as a recurring character on the now defunct family drama, 7th Heaven. Currently, she stars as Ruby, a demon who is helping Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), on Supernatural. ''
